Cookie Policy

How VeloxVerse uses cookies and similar technologies across our website, app and digital services.

About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Veloxverse Pty Ltd (“Veloxverse”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.veloxverse.com, related Veloxverse webpages, the Veloxverse mobile application and other digital services that link to this Policy. It should be read with the Veloxverse Privacy Policy.

Our digital services support remittance, credit assistance, travel, accommodation, vehicle rental, airport lounges and assistance, telecommunications, insurance and banking referrals, memberships, rewards, gift cards and related services. The technologies used may vary by service, device, location and third-party integration.

02

What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device when a website is visited. They can recognise a browser, remember choices, maintain a secure session and provide information about how a service is used. Some cookies expire when the browser closes. Others remain until their stated expiry date or until deleted.

We may also use technologies that perform similar functions, including:

  • Local storage and session storage, which retain settings, session data or limited information in a browser or app.
  • Software development kits and mobile identifiers, which support app functionality, security, analytics and provider integrations.
  • Pixels, tags, scripts and web beacons, which can record when a page, message or advertisement is viewed or selected.
  • Device, browser and network signals, which help protect accounts, detect fraud and understand service performance.
  • Server logs and API records, which document requests, errors, security events and interactions with integrated providers.

References to cookies in this Policy include these similar technologies where appropriate.

03

Who Sets Cookies

First-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by Veloxverse or on our behalf. They are generally used to operate our website and app, maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure accounts and understand how our services perform.

Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies or similar technologies are set or accessed by external providers integrated with our services. These may include identity-verification providers, payment processors, banks, remittance and payout partners, travel suppliers, credit and insurance referral partners, telecommunications providers, customer-support platforms, fraud-prevention services, analytics providers, advertising platforms and social-media services.

A third party may process information under its own privacy and cookie terms where it determines the purpose and means of processing. Veloxverse does not control every cookie or technology placed by an independent provider. Current provider and cookie details should be displayed through Cookie Settings or the relevant provider notice.

04

Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website, app or a requested service to operate. They may be used to maintain login sessions, route traffic, remember privacy choices, secure forms, prevent fraud, balance server loads, process checkout steps and protect accounts. Because these technologies are necessary to provide a service or maintain security, they may operate without optional consent where permitted by law.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies remember choices such as language, location, display settings, saved preferences, support-chat settings and previously selected services. Disabling them may reduce personalisation or cause some optional features not to work as expected.

Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand visits, navigation, feature use, errors, response times, campaign performance and service reliability. We use this information to measure demand, diagnose problems and improve the website and app. Where required, analytics cookies will not operate until consent is given.

Advertising and marketing cookies

These cookies and pixels may help measure advertisements, limit repetition, build audiences, attribute referrals and display more relevant promotions on Veloxverse or third-party platforms. They may link activity across websites, applications or devices. We request consent before using these technologies where applicable.

Security, fraud-prevention and compliance technologies

We may use device and network signals to detect unauthorised access, bots, account duplication, payment abuse, suspicious transactions, sanctions concerns and other security risks. These technologies may support KYC, AML/CTF, authentication and transaction monitoring. Some are strictly necessary; others will be classified and controlled according to their actual purpose and applicable law.

Communications and customer-support technologies

Customer-service, chat, callback, messaging and help-centre tools may store identifiers, conversation status, language or session information. If a third-party customer-service provider supports Veloxverse, authorised personnel may access relevant data to respond to the customer, subject to contractual, privacy and security controls.

05

How Cookies Support Veloxverse Services

Accounts and identity verification

Cookies may keep a customer signed in, remember progress, support multi-factor authentication, prevent session hijacking and connect a verification session with an account. Identity or biometric verification providers may use their own security and device technologies. Refusing necessary technologies may prevent registration or verification from being completed.

Remittance and payments

Cookies may preserve transfer or checkout progress, connect payment steps, prevent duplicate submissions, record consent, protect transactions and support fraud or sanctions controls. Payment processors and banking partners may set necessary technologies within hosted forms or redirected pages.

Credit assistance

Cookies may maintain application progress, record disclosures and consents, support document submission and connect customers with credit-service systems. Advertising cookies do not determine credit eligibility or approval. Lenders and credit-service providers may operate their own websites and technologies under separate policies.

Travel, accommodation and vehicle rental

Cookies may remember searches, passengers, dates, destinations, currency, booking progress and supplier sessions. Airlines, hotels, rental companies, booking systems and payment providers may use their own cookies when content is embedded or when a customer is redirected to their service.

Airport lounges and assistance

Cookies may retain airport, terminal, traveller, guest and booking selections and connect a request with the relevant lounge, meet-and-greet, fast-track or transfer provider.

Insurance and banking referrals

Cookies may attribute a referral, remember an enquiry and measure whether a customer reached or completed a provider journey. The insurer, broker, bank or authorised provider controls the application, product and any technologies on its own website. Marketing or referral cookies are used with consent where required.

Telecommunications and digital services

Cookies and app technologies may remember destination, package, device and activation selections for eSIM, recharge or virtual-number services. Network and telecommunications partners may collect technical information necessary to deliver, secure or support the service.

Memberships, rewards and promotions

Cookies may recognise membership status, preserve reward and referral attribution, apply eligible promotional codes and prevent duplicate or fraudulent use.

06

Information Collected Through Cookies

Depending on the technology and customer choices, information may include:

  • IP address, approximate location, browser type, operating system, language and device characteristics.
  • Cookie or device identifiers, session identifiers, advertising identifiers and consent records.
  • Pages viewed, links selected, referring page, searches, feature use, timestamps, errors and performance data.
  • Account or service status and transaction, application or booking reference where needed to maintain a secure journey.
  • Campaign, referral, advertisement and communication engagement information.
  • Fraud, authentication, network and security signals.

Cookies are not intended to store complete payment-card numbers, passwords, passport images, credit reports or full identity documents. Those records may be processed securely through the relevant service systems and are covered by the Privacy Policy.

07

Legal Bases and Consent

We use strictly necessary technologies to provide requested services, secure our systems, remember privacy selections and meet legal obligations. Depending on the jurisdiction, other processing may rely on consent, contractual necessity, legal obligation or legitimate interests where permitted.

Where consent is required, optional analytics, functional or advertising technologies will not be activated until the customer makes a valid choice. Consent may be refused or withdrawn without affecting strictly necessary cookies. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

The cookie banner should provide clear options to accept or reject non-essential cookies and to manage categories. Optional categories must not be pre-selected where an opt-in standard applies. Customers should be able to reopen Cookie Settings from the footer at any time.

08

Managing Cookie Choices

Customers can manage optional technologies through the Cookie Settings link on the website or app, where available. Browser or device settings can also block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may sign a customer out, remove saved preferences or prevent secure registration, verification, payment, booking or application features from working.

Instructions vary by browser and device. Customers should use the privacy or cookie controls provided by their browser, operating system or mobile device. Advertising choices may also be available from the relevant advertising platform. Veloxverse will recognise legally required browser-based privacy signals where technically supported and applicable.

09

Cookie Duration

Session cookies generally expire when the browser or session closes. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Duration depends on purpose: security and transaction-session cookies are usually short-lived; preference and consent records may remain longer so choices can be remembered; analytics and advertising periods depend on configuration and law.

The current cookie inventory in Cookie Settings should identify each cookie or technology, its provider, purpose, category and indicative duration. Veloxverse will periodically review the inventory and remove or reclassify technologies that are no longer required.

10

International Processing

Some technology and service providers operate in multiple countries. Cookie and device information may therefore be stored or accessed outside Australia or New Zealand, including where support, hosting, security, analytics or provider systems are located. Veloxverse applies contractual and other safeguards where required and provides further information in the Privacy Policy.

11

Children

Veloxverse services are not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent or enter the relevant service arrangement. We do not knowingly use advertising cookies to profile children. Where a minor may use a travel or family-related service, information should be provided by or with the authority of a parent, guardian or responsible adult as required.

12

Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

Our website or app may contain links, widgets, videos, maps, payment forms, support tools or other content supplied by third parties. Opening or interacting with that content may allow the provider to set or read its own technologies. The provider’s privacy and cookie notices apply to its independent processing. Customers should review those notices before continuing to an external service.

13

Security and Data Retention

Veloxverse uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information associated with cookies against unauthorised access, alteration, loss and misuse. No internet or device technology is completely secure. Information derived from cookies is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, legal requirements, dispute handling, fraud prevention and security, then deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

14

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, services, legal requirements or business practices change. The revised version and effective date will be published on the website. If a change materially affects consent choices, we will request renewed consent where required.

15

Contact and Complaints

Questions, requests or complaints about cookies and online tracking may be sent to privacy@veloxverse.com. Complaints are handled under the Veloxverse Complaint Handling and Dispute Resolution Policy. Eligible customers may also contact the privacy regulator or authority available in their jurisdiction after giving Veloxverse a reasonable opportunity to respond.
